Hongshan ceramic

Ceramic industry is a traditional product industry in Hongshan Village, Jiexiu. Hongshan was known as "Tao Village" in ancient times. According to historical records, Hongshan Porcelain Kiln was built in Zhenyuan period of Tang Dynasty, with a history of more than a thousand years. Yuanshen spring water and Hongshan clay provide unique material conditions for Hongshan ceramics. According to experts' research, the ceramic products produced at that time can be compared with the products of ancient northern famous kilns. Especially in the Song Dynasty, ceramic technology reached perfection and won praise at home and abroad. Such as black glazed porcelain, it not only does not explode when it sees fire, but also has the reputation of being black as ink, bright as a mirror, jade in quality and fragrant in sound. After the Song Dynasty, porcelain-making technology was stagnant, with a small number and a single variety. Only coarse porcelain could be produced, mainly including pots, bowls and jars. After liberation, the variety has correspondingly increased to produce more than 20 kinds of bowls, cups, plates and pots. The black glazed porcelain produced by this factory won the medal of Panama International Fair.
