Keel: The keel produced in Yushe County is large in quantity, pure in bone, less in impurities, strong in moisture absorption, white in color and patterned. The chemical composition of keel mainly contains calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and calcium phosphate (Ca3(PO4)2). Sweet, astringent and flat. Indications: night sweats, wet dream, spermatorrhea, blood under intestinal wind, diarrhea, epistaxis, and leukorrhagia. External use can heal wounds. Decoction or pill powder.
