Deshengyuan's "brain" and "brain" are a seasonal nourishing and nutritious snack. Yuci's "brain" is the earliest, and it is said that it was made according to the formula and technology of "Bazhen Decoction" by Fu Shan, a famous Shanxi person in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. There is an ancient temple named "Dacheng Temple" in Nanmadao Street in Yuci City, and there is a Buddhist Scripture Building in the temple. According to folklore, Mr. Fu Shan and his mother lived here for a period of time after the completion of the Buddhist Scripture Building. Later, it was supplemented and improved, and four raw materials were added to become eight kinds, commonly known as "Bazhen Decoction". Later, it was introduced to the people and became a nourishing food loved by the broad masses. In the Qing Dynasty, there were several shops in Yuci market that operated "brains", among which "Deshengyuan" in Yamen Street was the most famous, comparable to "Qinghuangqi, yellow distiller's grains, stewed noodles and galangal" in Taiyuan, with pickled leeks as the main body and pasta such as "selling wheat" and "hat box" as the auxiliary food, which was soft, soft, fragrant, sweet and hot, and had no smell.
