Gaoping huangli

Gaoping yellow pear is characterized by its large size, strong flavor, high moisture content and storage and transportation resistance. The sugar content is 9.98%, the acid content is 0.23%, and the ratio of sugar to acid is 38.93, which is of medium and high quality. The pear orchard in the city covers an area of 19,800 mu, with about 85 plants and an annual output of about 20 million kilograms. Among them, there are about 26 rhubarb pear trees with an annual output of about 16 million kilograms. The main producing areas are Sizhuang, Yonglu, Busan, Zhaozhuang, Yechuan, Duzhai, Chenqu, Tuanchi and other places. Among them, the rhubarb pear produced in Tielu Village of Chenqu Town has the best quality and its common name is "Tielu Pear", which was once a tribute in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
