Aonao Welsh onion, a specialty of Lucheng City, Shanxi Province, is named after its origin in Aonao Village, Heshi Township, Shanxi Province. The origin is more than 50 natural villages in 4 towns and villages, including Heshi Township, Dianshang Town, Zhaidian Town and Huangniuti Township in Yunyashan area of the city. This area has a unique climate, excellent environment and little pollution, and has a long history of planting green onions. The green onions produced are thick and long, neat and tender, white and fresh, and rich in nutrition, which are deeply loved by consumers.
