Douquan Township is located in the north of Guangling County. Crops are mainly cereals, millet, beans, potatoes, sunflower seeds and some minor grains. The cash crop is mainly apricot for kernel. More than 6,000 mu of apricot for kernel has been planted in the township, and some of them have borne fruit, so the apricot for kernel has broad prospects for output. In recent years, Douquan Township has taken the development of almond apricot planting as an important project to increase farmers' income and get rich on dry sloping land. The area of almond apricot in the township has reached 10,000 mu, and the area of edible apricot has reached 2,000 mu. In normal years, the income per mu of almond apricot is about 1000 yuan, and the income per mu of edible apricot is about 3,000 yuan. All 10,000 mu of almond apricot in the township are planted according to the requirements of organic food planting. At present, an organic food supply agreement for almond apricot has been signed with Bailaoda Food Co., Ltd. in our county, which has laid a solid foundation for the healthy development of almond apricot industry in the township and the continuous increase of farmers' income.
