Its production process includes seven processes: molding, casting, welding, tin lining, embossing, polishing and assembly. On the chassis, the pot body, the pot cover and the lid, patterns such as "the dragon and phoenix are auspicious", "the magpie climbs the plum blossom", "the Eight Immortals cross the sea" and "flowers and birds landscape" are engraved respectively. Because of its beautiful shape, exquisite craftsmanship, variety, durability and strong national and local characteristics, it is deeply loved by customers. People not only like its practical value, but also like its artistic appreciation value. In 1973, when the Prime Minister accompanied French President Pompidou to visit with him, he presented the copper chafing dish with the pattern of "Flying Moon in Kowloon" as a gift to President Pompidou. Today, Datong Metal Craft Factory produces ten types and more than 200 varieties of craft products, which are mainly made of steel hot pot, supplemented by wine utensils, court tableware, copper plaques and bronze statues.
