Dayin Village is located in the northeast of Hengshui City, with 19 administrative villages, 23,000 people and 54,500 mu of cultivated land. It is a typical agricultural town. Dayin Village and Town is the initiator of protected vegetables in Raoyang County, and it is also the township with the largest greenhouse vegetable planting area and the highest specifications in Raoyang County. At present, the total number of greenhouses in the town has reached 19,800, the total area of greenhouse vegetables has reached 34,000 mu, and there are more than 20 new, excellent and special varieties. The output value of vegetable industry is 270 million yuan, accounting for 78% of the total agricultural output value. In 2007, around the development goal of "building the first vegetable town in Hebei Province", the whole town planned and built four characteristic demonstration areas, built two "10,000 mu" demonstration parties, popularized biological control technology, passed the acceptance of pollution-free vegetable standards by the evaluation committee of the National Bureau of Standards and Metrology, and was named "the hometown of vegetables in Hebei Province" by the Agriculture Department of Hebei Province. At the same time, with the cultivation of greenhouse vegetables as the leader, it has promoted the development of a series of industries such as agricultural materials supply, vegetable seedling, processing and sales, packaging and transportation, and has become the pillar industry of the town.
