Wuqiang cucumber

Wuqiang cucumber is a specialty of Wuqiang County, Hengshui City, Hebei Province. Wuqiang greenhouse cucumber was recognized as a high-quality agricultural product in Hebei Province for four consecutive years from 1999 to 2002, and Wuqiang vegetables were registered as "Wulv" brand trademark in 2002. Wuqiang was named "the hometown of cucumber in Hebei" by the provincial government. Wuqiang cucumber production has a long history. In recent years, it has been mainly cultivated in solar greenhouse. The main cultivated varieties are Jinlv No.3 and Jinyou No.3, and there are also special varieties such as Jingyan Mini No.2, Yilan, Holland Changka and Zhoukou White Cucumber, which form cucumber production all year round with complete varieties. Production, in strict accordance with the operating rules of pollution-free vegetables production. The product meets the standard of pollution-free vegetables, which is characterized by excellent quality, rich nutrition and good taste. It is mainly used for fresh food and processing pickles. The annual planting area is more than 40,000 mu, the total output is 220,000 tons, the sales income is 400 million yuan, and the production and sales rate is over 85%. Products are mainly sold to Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Shenyang, Qiqihar, Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Baoding and other places.
