Taocheng rubber

Taocheng District, Hengshui City, Hebei Province, was recently named "Hometown of Rubber Products in China" by the recommendation and publicity organizing committee of China Hometown of Specialty, which was composed of experts from the Ministry of Agriculture, China Agricultural Society, China Specialty Economic Research Association and other relevant departments. The rubber industry in Taocheng District began in the 1960s. After 40 years of development and expansion, the product grade has been continuously improved, and the market share has increased substantially. Especially, a number of key backbone enterprises have reached the advanced level of the same industry in China in terms of production scale, management level, R&D capability and equipment technology. At present, the rubber industry in Taocheng District has the largest scale, the strongest comprehensive strength, the most complete product range, the widest market coverage and the largest number of patents in China. Six companies have entered the top 10 in the national industry. Engineering rubber products, in particular, occupy more than 43% of the national market share. In 2004, the annual output value of rubber industry in the whole region reached 4 billion yuan, with profits of more than 300 million yuan and taxes of more than 58 million yuan.
