Suning leek

Suning leek is a specialty of Suning County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. Suning belongs to the alluvial plain of Haihe River, with flat terrain and fertile land. It is an important production area of grain, cotton, vegetables and fruits in North China. At present, the vegetable planting area in the county is 140,000 mu, including 40,000 mu of pollution-free leeks. In recent years, Suning County of Hebei Province has established pollution-free vegetable bases, established leek professional cooperatives, and introduced scientific and biological pest control technology to ensure the supply of leeks in all seasons and sell them well in Beijing and Tianjin markets. At present, the planting scale of leek in small arch shed in this county is more than 40 thousand mu, with an annual output of 300 thousand tons of pollution-free leek.
