Yanshan jujube

In the third batch of "Hometown of China Economic Forest" named by State Forestry Administration, Yanshan Mountain was officially named as "Hometown of China Jujube". According to the introduction of Yanshan Forestry Bureau, 73 counties (cities, districts) were named in this naming activity of "the hometown of economic forest in China", among which 6 counties and cities in our province were named. For Yanshan, there has been a tradition of planting jujube trees since ancient times. Recently, the jujube industry in Yanshan is booming. The county has planted 370,000 mu of jujube trees, about 14.8 million plants, with an annual output of 44 million kilograms of jujube, which has become an important sideline for local farmers to get rich.
