Produced in Cangzhou, Hebei Province. The meat is delicious and tender, and the meat and liver can be used to make various dishes. Tolerance to extensive management, strong foraging ability, especially like to eat aquatic plants, wild vegetables and crop stems and leaves. In winter and spring, it should be kept in houses, and it should be put in pits, ponds and depressions near the village from May to October, bathed and eaten in rivers and ditches, and supplemented with wheat bran, rice bran, sorghum bran, corn and sorghum flour.
