Longhua Prunus armeniaca is a specialty of Longhua County, Chengde City, Hebei Province. Longhua county insists on taking apricot industry as a leading industry to enrich the people and increase income. After years of continuous management and development, it has become a large-scale and high-quality apricot resource county in North China. Longhua is located at the eastern foot of Yanshan Mountain in northern Hebei Province, with many mountains and rivers, which belongs to a typical continental monsoon climate, with a forest coverage rate of 53.4%. There are vast mountain fields and rich economic forest resources, including nearly 800,000 mu of wild almond trees. Prunus armeniaca is a combination of food, medicine and charcoal, which is widely used and has a high survival rate of seedlings. There is a total area of 1.137 million mu of almond forests in this area, including 910,000 mu of artificial direct seeding and wild almond forests, 165,000 mu of abandoned almond forests, 45,000 mu of barren hills matching almond forests in forestry projects and 17,000 mu of big flat almond forests. Among them, more than 80% of almond trees have entered the full fruit period, mainly distributed in more than 10 towns and villages such as Taipingzhuang and Zhongguan. Apricot flat is most concentrated in Xichuan and Beichuan towns. In recent years, the county has actively explored the road of industrial development to improve the comprehensive economic benefits of Xinglin by paying close attention to the construction of Prunus armeniaca base, accelerating the pace of grafting wild Prunus armeniaca, and the rapid growth of Prunus armeniaca industry has become one of the four leading agricultural industries in the county. According to statistics, the county has an annual output of 10,800 tons of apricot kernels and 3,200 tons of almonds, with an annual output value of more than 40 million yuan. Especially in September, 2007, Longhua Apricot Food Co., Ltd., an agricultural and sideline product processing enterprise with almonds as the main raw material, officially put into production and operation, ending the history of lacking almond processing enterprises in the county, making the apricot industry begin to realize the matching of Jackie Chan, providing a good opportunity for the county to further develop apricot resources and develop apricot industry. The company has a total investment of 120 million yuan, covering an area of 30 mu, and mainly produces a series of products such as debittered almonds, almond oil and almond powder. The first phase of the project can produce 3000 tons of debittered almonds a year, with an output value of 90 million yuan and a profit and tax of 10 million yuan; It is estimated that after the completion of the second phase of the project under preparation, the output value will be 400 million yuan, the profit and tax will be 50 million yuan, and 300 workers will be arranged. With the support of the county party committee and the county government, the company took the lead in setting up the apricot farmers' professional cooperative in April 2007, which has absorbed 8,650 members and promoted the development of more than 900,000 mu of apricot base industry in the county. In 2008, the cooperative was rated as a municipal model society by Chengde City.
