Wanquan oat is a specialty of Wanquan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. Wanquan does not produce oats, but it has become the largest oat processing base in China, and won the title of "Hometown of Oats in China". Wanquan County takes the largest oat processing base in China as an opportunity to make the oat processing industry bigger and stronger, and make it famous as the "Hometown of Oats in China", so as to realize the cluster management, product branding and market internationalization of the oat industry. At present, the annual output of oat products in the county accounts for more than 70% of the domestic market, selling well in more than 30 provinces and cities in China and exporting to Hong Kong, Singapore and other places, with an annual sales income of more than 100 million yuan. The county does not produce naked oats, but it digests 80% of naked oats in Bashang area all the year round. Therefore, 10 leading oat processing enterprises in the county set up an oat processing industry federation, which led to the development of more than 120 oat processing enterprises, and successively developed more than 20 varieties in five series, including rich and strong naked oats, naked oats instant noodles and oatmeal. It produces and processes more than 90,000 tons of oat products, which promotes the income of related industries to increase by more than 60 million yuan and develops into the largest oat processing base in China. At present, more than 90 enterprises in the county have passed QS certification, 10 enterprises have passed ISO9000 series certification, and 7 kinds of oat products have passed the national "green food A-level certification". The products of two oat companies, Kangxi and Green Field, have been rated as "trustworthy products for consumers in Hebei Province" for many times and won several awards at the National Agricultural Fair. Kangxi and Wanlv Pastoral Trademarks were recognized as "Famous Trademarks in Hebei Province". In order to solve the "bottleneck" of naked oats products crossing the river and make them popular in the north and south of the country, the county organized technical research, made Fuqiang flour oat noodles, Wanquan mineral water, production tools and edible instructions into gift boxes and sold them to the south, which solved the problems that Jiangnan people could not do it, the water could not do it, and it could not do it well, and successfully opened the southern markets such as Wenzhou, Guilin, Yunnan and Guangzhou. Through innovative eating methods and processing technology, convenient and healthy oat foods such as oat nutritious noodles, oat paste, high-fiber oat (rice) slices, oat embryo powder and oat protein were developed, which realized the steaming and boiling of oats and was favored by consumers. Invested more than 1.2 million yuan to support the establishment of scientific research forces, successfully extracted a soluble dietary fiber from oat bran, and developed oat dextran dry powder, oat dextran 1 and oat polypeptide with the highest content and purity in China, which have been exported to the United States, Japan, South Korea and other countries, with an annual income of more than 3 million yuan.
