Boye Huangguan pear is a specialty of Boye County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Boye Huangguan pear is not only big and good in appearance, but also juicy, fine in meat, sweet and without any dregs after eating. Shawo Village was built in the Tang Dynasty. At the beginning of the village, it began to introduce high-quality pear cultivated by Wei Zhi, a famous Tang Dynasty native of Jinzhou at that time. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was planted on a large scale. Shawo and its surrounding pear orchards can be seen everywhere. Up to now, Shawo Village still retains 2,500 ancient pear trees dating back more than 250 years. At present, there are more than 10 varieties of pear fruits in Shawo Village, with nearly 10,000 mu of pear orchards and 100,000 pear trees. Fruit farmers in Dabeihe Village have a tradition of planting fruit trees for more than 30 years. Under the guidance of fruit technology experts, fruit farmers have introduced pears that sell well in the market, such as "crown pear" and "Hongxiangsu". In order to ensure the pears to enter the big market, the village has implemented standardized production, adhered to pollution-free management, and used farm manure such as livestock and poultry to fertilize fruit trees, and resolutely put an end to topdressing nitro fertilizers; From disease prevention to pest control, all fruit trees use pesticides with low toxicity and residue period of no more than 7 days. To enter the big market, the fruit should have a standard weight. In order to make each pear weigh 0.35-0.40 kg, they strictly follow the technical essentials to dilute the fruits and vegetables, so that the number and size of each pear tree are controlled within a certain standard range. Orange color is also an important standard of fruit. In order to meet the specified standard, they changed the plastic film bagging to a special paper bag set.
