Huilong candy

Huilong candy is a specialty of Huilong Town, Wei County, Handan City, Hebei Province. A number of famous brand enterprises such as Doujia, Jinerkang, Jiaqing and Bubukang have emerged in Huilong's candy industry, and Huilong Candy Industry Association has been established. Huilong Candy Industry has gradually developed and become one of the six major candy bases in China. Weixian Huilong candy food processing industry started in the 1960s, with a history of more than 50 years. In 2004, the county party committee and government set up a "candy city", and in 2006, a candy food processing park was established on this basis, which was listed as an important point in the new pattern of "0-3 line" economic construction in the county. In 2006, Huilong hired Handan Planning and Design Institute and the School of Architecture of Hebei University of Engineering to make a master plan for Huilong Town and Candy Park, with a planned area of 3 square kilometers. The plan was completed in 2007, passed the expert argumentation, and was adopted at the second meeting of the 15th People's Congress of Huilong Town and reported to the county government for approval. In order to make the candy industry bigger and stronger, the party committee and government of Huilong Town have established the overall development plan of "building a candy industry cluster and building a famous town with characteristics in southern Hebei", and accelerated the infrastructure construction of the park. The road surface of the East Ring Road in the park is 10 meters wide and will soon be opened to traffic. The 11kW substation with an investment of 28 million yuan is under intense construction. A large water supply plant with an investment of 3.2 million yuan will be available by the end of the year, and the water supply and drainage project with an investment of 300,000 yuan will soon be completed. The sewage treatment project with a total investment of 28.1 million yuan has been put into use. A management committee has been set up in the park, with Du Zhangyu, deputy director of the Standing Committee of County People's Congress and concurrently director of Town 1, and an office under the management committee, which is fully responsible for all the work of the park construction and has formulated a series of preferential policies, creating a good internal and external environment for the park construction. The county Huilong candy food processing park has begun to take shape, with broad development prospects and strong development potential. The county Huilong candy food processing park has a building area of 1.1 square kilometers, 45 enterprises have entered the park, the investment in fixed assets has reached 675.7 million yuan, the investment intensity is 1.2 million yuan/mu, and the annual output of all kinds of candy is 130,000 tons. Some products are exported to all parts of the country, and some of them have entered the international markets such as Russia, India and North Korea through border trade, achieving annual sales income of 1.18 billion yuan, tax payment of 18.82 million yuan, and annual placement of employed people. In 2007, it was identified by Handan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government as a township in the project gathering area.
