Cixian lotus root

Cixian has a long history of planting lotus root, and Cizhou lotus root has a good quality and a long-standing reputation. It is one of the main producing areas of lotus root in our province, with Baiyangdian lotus in the north and ancient Cizhou lotus root in the south. According to historical data and county records, as far back as the Song Dynasty, the lotus root in ancient Cizhou was listed as a tribute, which was supervised by the history of lotus root and sent to the palace for imperial use. Cizhou lotus root production area is located in the northeast of Cixian County. Xinzhuangying Township, Huaguanying Township, Guanglu Township and Gaoqiao Town have unique natural conditions for planting lotus roots. There are 60,000 mu of suitable lotus root fields, and now 20,000 mu have been planted. The products are exported to Beijing, Taiyuan, Baotou and other places, and the market potential is great, which is in short supply.
