Cizhou rice

Cizhou rice is a specialty of Cixian County, Handan City, Hebei Province. Cixian rice is characterized by white color, crystal clear, sweet and fragrant after cooking. Historically, it has entered the court as a tribute. Up to now, there is still a story in Cixian that farmers skillfully built the Jinci Niangniang Temple to resist Gong Mi. The main rice producing areas in Cixian are in Huaguanying Township, Xinzhuangying Township and Gaoqiao Town. The land here is low and fertile, and the water is abundant.
