Cheng' an strawberry

Strawberry was introduced into Cheng 'an County in 1984, and the benefits were considerable. In 1995, the county government listed the strawberry industry as one of the leading industries in the county, and in 1998, it became a "landmark" industry in the county to accelerate its development. In 1999, Handan City listed the strawberry industry in Cheng 'an County as one of the top ten leading industries in the city. The area planted with strawberries in the county has reached more than 47,000 mu, and there are more than 30,000 strawberry farmers, with an annual output of more than 70,000 tons of fresh fruit and an output value of 366 million yuan. The main products are more than 20 kinds such as "Yingxuehong" trademark series, Xingdu series, Jingcheng series, Fengxiang, Tutela, Meixiangsha, Jingxiang and Guinugan. In 1998, the strawberry seedling tissue culture center was established, which can breed 600,000 high-quality strawberry seedlings every year.
