Tea shed tomatoes are a specialty of tea shed township in Funing County, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. "Tea shed" brand tomatoes are not only famous in the Beijing-Tianjin market, but also sell well in the three northeastern provinces. In 2008, it was awarded as a famous trademark in Hebei. Teashed Township is located in the west of Funing County, 9.5 kilometers away from the county seat and 40 kilometers away from Qinhuangdao City. As a powerful starting point for optimizing agricultural structure and increasing farmers' income, the tomato industry has always been the pillar industry in Teashed Township. At present, the planting area is 13,860 mu, accounting for 24% of the township's cultivated land area, with an annual output of 60 million kilograms of tomatoes and an output value of 220 million yuan. It not only created great benefits for the vegetable farmers, but also won the title of "China Tomato Town" in the "China Excellent Characteristic Industry Base Brand Promotion and Broadcasting Activity" held by the "China City Investment and Development Conference", which is also the only unit in the country that won this honor.
