Xinji Yali pear is a specialty of xinji city, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. Xinji Yali pear has a long history of planting and enjoys the reputation of "sweet and crisp", with white, clean and good appearance. The famous one is "Tianhua" Yali pear. Xinji is located in the old road of Su River, with soft soil, suitable temperature and unique conditions. Xinji Yali pear has a cultivation history of 2000 years and belongs to an ancient superior variety. In the Qin and Han dynasties, it became a garden, forming commodities, marketing in other places, and fruit farmers depended on it for a living. By the end of 2005, the area of pear trees reached 250,000 mu, including 100,000 mu of Yali pear, which is a famous pear fruit producing area with large scale and high management level in China. Xinji Yali pear is not only a fresh fruit that people used to eat in past dynasties, but also has certain nutritional and medicinal value because of its color, fragrance, taste and shape. It contains many organic acids such as fructose, glucose and malic acid, and many vitamins such as protein, fat, thiamine, riboflavin and carotene. Yali pear is the main fruit export product in xinji city at present. It has strong competitiveness in the international market with its excellent quality and low price, and has gradually created an international brand, with an annual export of 25,000-30,000 tons.
