Hangu printmaking

Hangu prints mainly focus on the work and life of salt field, chemical industry, agriculture and fishery in Hangu area, absorbing the creative techniques of China folk traditional art and western art, using new materials, new skills and new techniques, using woodcut, paper version, comprehensive version, silk leakage version, mimeograph and watermark, etc., and paying attention to the exploration of print language, the works are refreshing. Hangu printmaking team is mainly composed of workers, teachers and art cadres. This group has created more than 700 prints, of which 34 works are collected by China Art Museum, some works are collected by some museums, exhibition halls and international friends at home and abroad, and hundreds of works have been exhibited and won prizes in more than a dozen countries and regions at home and abroad.
