This is the second geographical indication certification trademark obtained by Hangu after "Chadian" grape. According to reports, geographical indications are gradually developed from the "name of origin" and are widely used in many fields such as agricultural and sideline products, traditional industrial products and handicrafts. According to the Trademark Law, a geographical indication refers to a sign that a commodity comes from a certain region, and the specific quality, reputation or other characteristics of the commodity are mainly determined by natural factors or human factors in the region. Yangjiabo is a famous town of aquatic products with a long history. The "1,000-acre prawn breeding base" has been certified as a national pollution-free breeding base, and aquatic products have been certified as pollution-free products. The base also makes full use of abundant geothermal resources for off-season breeding, creating the first national record of shrimp yield of 1030 kg per mu. The successful registration of this trademark will greatly promote the development of characteristic agriculture, tourism and industrial diversification in Hangu, and directly drive the increase of employment opportunities and farmers' income.
