Gaocun watermelon

Gaocun Township is a well-known hometown of watermelons. Gaocun Township is located between Tianjin, Beijing and Langlang, with networked roads and fertile soil, covering an area of 43 square kilometers. It is 60 kilometers away from Tianjin downtown in the south, 60 kilometers away from Beijing in the north, 10 kilometers away from Langfang exit of Jintang Expressway in the west, and adjacent to Tianjin-Beijing Highway in the east. The traffic is very convenient. The power is abundant, and there is a 35 kV substation (dual power supply) in the township. The upcoming Beijing-Tianjin Expressway northbound passage has an exit in the township, with eight lanes in both directions, starting from the Sixth Ring Road in Beijing in the north and Tanggu in Tianjin in the south. The climate here is suitable, the light is sufficient, it governs 16 administrative villages, with a population of 18,000, abundant green underground water sources, complete agricultural infrastructure, advanced production technology, excellent watermelon quality, high sugar content, sweet taste, annual output of more than 50 million kilograms, and exported to Hebei, Inner Mongolia and other places. In order to speed up the pace of economic development, since the reform and opening up, the economy of Gaocun Township has developed vigorously. The investment attraction has been strengthened, and the investment environment is more favorable. There are 32 rural enterprises, including 3 wholly foreign-owned enterprises, 29 joint ventures, collective limited companies and private enterprises, with more than 1,000 employees. The investment policy is more relaxed, and hundreds of domestic and foreign merchants have come to negotiate. At present, many enterprises have settled down to invest and set up factories. Involved in leather, building materials, casting, clothing, printing, binding and other industries, Gaocun Township relies on good industrial and agricultural foundation and advantages, and its products are sold to Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, the United States and other countries and regions.
