Boer goat

Boer goat, native to South Africa. The coat color is white, the color of head, ears and neck can be light red to brown, and both eyelids must be colored. It has high adaptability, strong disease resistance, large physique and rapid growth and development. Adult ram weighs 110-135 kg, and adult ewe weighs 90-110 kg. Lambs weigh 3-4 kg at birth and 27-30 kg at weaning. At the age of 6 months, he weighed about 40 kilograms. The daily weight gain during the first year of life is about 190 grams, and the weight gain before weaning is generally more than 200 grams. Boer goats have early sexual maturity, with a lambing rate of 160-180% and a high multiple birth rate. Its meat performance is good, and the slaughter rate of adult sheep is above 50-60%.
