On the basis of maintaining the original varieties and tastes, future generations have continuously increased varieties to make it continue to develop, and finally evolved into today's Laoyuchang smoked sauce series and jiaozi series. The ancients once praised Lao Yuchang's smoked sauce with the phrase "one taste of Lao Yuchang, forgetting his hometown in March". The ancients also praised Lao Yuchang's steamed dumplings with such a poem: "The wine and wine are luminous cups, and the beautiful moon is drunk." An ancient poem describes Lao Yuchang's jiaozi as charming as a moon, like a half-moon, which combines wine, food and beauty, bringing people to the artistic conception of poetry.
