The shopkeeper replied quickly, "If you return to the Lord, you are guilty and dare not cheat: the stuffing is not sheep's eye, but it is made more finely, and the size of the bag is smaller, like a sheep's eye, so it is named' sheep's eye steamed stuffed bun'." Kangxi tasted two of them and found them very delicious, so he sent a message: "I think Yangyaner steamed buns are very good. You can always send them to the palace and ask the internal affairs office to open a bank." Since then, yangyaner steamed stuffed bun has become famous in Beijing. As a result, Muslims in all parts of the four cities made sheep's eye buns, which became a favorite food for Muslims.
