Beizhai red apricot is produced in Beizhai Village, Nandu Lehe Town, Pinggu District. Long-distance transportation is not oily. As early as 1982, it was identified as a famous, special and excellent product by Beijing Fruit Appraisal Association. In 1995, it obtained the "green food" certification issued by the Ministry of Agriculture. Beizhai red apricot is a variety bred by Beizhai people themselves. Around the 1950s, the local villagers first discovered that one or two apricots were particularly delicious, which, in their words, was the result of the "tooth change" of wild apricots. Beizhai people grafted it, from one or two classes to tens of thousands of acres.
