Blue peacock

Blue Peacock Special Animal Breeding Farm in Pinggu District is a leading industrial enterprise engaged in research and development, production and processing, catering and eating of livestock and poultry industry, which belongs to Beijing Pinggu District Animal Husbandry Service Center (formerly Pinggu County Animal Husbandry Bureau). The main species is blue peacock, and there are more than ten kinds of special birds, such as white peacock, Chinese court yellow chicken, partridge, pigeon, colorful pheasant, guinea fowl, turkey, mallard duck, swan goose, black phoenix chicken and black phoenix green shell layer. In 1997, the site was designated as a key project for the development of special livestock and poultry breeding industrialization in mountainous areas by the Ministry of Forestry and the Beijing Municipal Government. In 1999, it was rated as the national demonstration field of special economic animal breeding. In 2000, it was rated as the national advanced unit of special breeding. In 2001, it was approved by Yebao Station of Beijing Forestry Bureau and allowed to operate and utilize, and was certified as green-"safe edible agricultural products" by Beijing Lvan Office. In 2002, the hotel was rated as "food hygiene trustworthy unit" by Pinggu District government and health department. In 2002, it was identified as "Beijing Agricultural Standardization Production Demonstration Base". Developing special animal breeding is a way to get rich with low input, high output and high benefit. With strong technical force and expanding business scale, this farm has become the largest breeding base for blue peacocks and special birds in North China, and its products are sold all over the country.
