Liuduhe village chestnut

Liuduhe Village is located in the southeast of Bohai Town, Huairou District, 13 kilometers away from Huairou City. The total area of the village is about 4.78 square kilometers, and there are 196 households and 553 people in the village. With beautiful scenery, lush trees and beautiful environment, the village has the largest planting area and output of chestnut in Bohai Town. There are many varieties of chestnuts in this village, and the quality is good. Visitors can eat the fried chestnuts at any time when they come to the village all year round. Farmers can also make chestnut porridge and chestnut banquet for tourists to taste the chestnut special catering. Every year, during the chestnut blossom season in June and the harvest season in October, the festival activities such as the chestnut flower viewing festival and the chestnut picking festival in the "Chestnut Flower Valley" attract many tourists to visit. In 2009, Liuduhe Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District was rated as "the most beautiful village in Beijing".
