The average number of seeds per melon is about 60, which is 1/10 of that of common watermelon. Strong disease resistance, especially resistance to Fusarium wilt. It is resistant to storage and transportation, and can be stored indoors for more than 15 days under moderate harvesting conditions. The pericarp has good toughness and does not crack. It is a best-selling fruit in the capital market. Changmihong melon with few seeds is a medium-mature variety, which grows slowly at seedling stage, requires high temperature and grows vigorously in the middle and late stage. It takes about 33 days from fruit flowering to maturity. The fruit is spherical and the skin is green. The average weight of a single fruit is 3.5 kg, and the maximum weight is 9 kg. The skin is 1.5 cm thick, the flesh is bright red, the meat is crisp and sweet, juicy and not hollow. There are suitable natural, social and economic conditions in the planting area of Changmihong melon with few seeds. Located in front of the mountain, there are many seasonal rivers, and the Jingmi diversion canal passes through the whole territory; Groundwater has strong water supply capacity, good water quality and no pollution; The soil quality is good, and the soil is mostly light soil or sandy soil; It belongs to the warm piedmont area, with abundant sunshine and mild climate, which are very beneficial to the development of watermelon production. The yield of this variety is high, generally more than 2000 kg per mu, and the highest yield can reach 3000 kg.
