Shunyi Dangshan crisp pear

Dangshan crisp pear, also known as dangshan pear, originated in Dangshan County, Anhui Province, China. The pear has the advantages of large fruit size (average single fruit weight is 300g, and the largest fruit is nearly 200g), excellent quality (crisp and delicious, juicy and sweet), wide adaptability (currently cultivated in North China, Northeast China and Northwest China) and high yield (the variety bears fruit at the beginning of the third year of cultivation, and after 5 years). In 1993, the production base of Dangshan crisp pear was built in Shunyi District, with an area of 5,000 mu and an annual output of 3 million kilograms. It is estimated that the production scale will reach 10 million kilograms every year after 2000.
