Jingxi rice, namely "Jingxi Saigon rice", is mainly produced in Ximafang Dongmafang, Shangzhuang Town, Haidian District, western Beijing. Jingxi rice is a thousand-year-old Jingxi rice produced by ecological planting and production. It is a subspecies of japonica rice, with round grains, crystal clear and bright. After the founding of New China, the ecological environment of paddy fields was improved through soil improvement and water control, and high-yield and high-quality varieties were selected to purify and rejuvenate improved varieties, and improved varieties such as Yinfang, Shuiyuan300, Gold and Platinum were successively popularized. In 1976, Yuefu was selected as the main spring rice variety with one crop per year. Since 2006, "Qiu Guang" has been selected as the main rice variety after wheat. We will expand the trial planting of "Xingshi" high-quality new varieties in a small area, and at the same time plant a small number of special varieties such as aromatic rice.
