Beijing Black Pig was bred by crossing local black pigs in Beijing with Baksha, Middle Yorkshire, Soviet Yorkshire and Caucasian pigs. It is mainly distributed in Chaoyang District, Haidian District, Changping County, Shunyi County, Tongxian County and other suburbs of Beijing. And extended to Hebei, Henan, Shanxi and other provinces. Beijing black pig has a black coat, strong constitution and well-proportioned structure. The head is moderate in size, the ears are upright or horizontally extended forward and upward, the face is slightly concave, the forehead is wide, the neck and shoulders are well combined, the back and waist are straight and wide, the legs and hips are plump, and the limbs are strong. There are 7 pairs of nipples. The adult weight of Beijing Black Pig is 262kg for boars and 236kg for sows. The average litter size of primiparous sows is 10, and that of multiparous sows is 11.52. According to the measurement, the average daily weight gain is 609g in the stage of 20 ~ 90 kg, and the mixture consumption is 3.70kg per kg. The slaughter rate was 72.4%, and the carcass lean meat rate was 51.5%. Landrace × Beijing black pig hybrid pigs weigh 20 ~ 90 kg, gain 650 ~ 700 g per day, consume 3.2 ~ 3.6 kg of compound feed per kg of gain, and the carcass lean meat rate is about 55%. The offspring of Duroc× Landrace, Beijing Black Pig and Yorkshire× Landrace, Beijing Black Pig gained 600 ~ 700 g daily, and the compound feed was 3.2 ~ 3.5 kg per kg. When the body weight is 90kg, the lean meat rate of the slaughtered carcass is over 58%.
